- All work is due either:
- By the next class day if no due date and time is posted
- By a time that is clearly displayed on the course website
- Late work is accepted, but
- 10% of the total possible grade is deducted per 24-hour cycle after the due time
- Example:
- If an assignment is due on Friday morning by class time (9:00AM), and you do it or submit it at 3:00PM on Friday, the maximum possible grade you can receive is a 90% because you submitted it after class time but within the first 24-hour cycle. If you submit it on Saturday at 12:00 noon, the highest possible grade would be an 80%.
- This extends down to a 70%. Afterwards, the assignment will not be accepted.
- Exceptions on late work:
- If there is confusion about the assignment (as deemed by me in a one-on-one or whole class discussion), you will be given the benefit of the doubt and counted on time
- If you have made arrangements with me before the due date, asking for an extension and providing a reason, you will likely receive an extension.
